WONCathon is BACK
Have you ever wanted to be on the radio? Donating to the WONCathon fundraiser is your chance to be on the radio and help out your favorite Pure Rock station at the same time!
Contributions can be made in two ways: One way is to visit the North Central College donation site and select the box for WONC FM-89.1. The College's confidential fundraising site will allow you to provide contact and
credit card information and select contribution level. The second way is to mail donation checks and contact information to the North Central College Development Office, 30 N. Brainard Street, Naperville, IL 60540, attn: WONCathon.
Contributors will be thanked with structured access to air-time at WONC-FM 89.1, in fall of 2008, supervised by radio station staff. Thank you gifts will be given at the following levels:
| Donation amount | WONC gift |
| $50 | read (3) traffic or (1) sports, news or rock news report in 1-hour broadcast |
| $100 | co-host 1-hour WONC music program |
| $175 | co-host 2-hour WONC music program |
| $250 | co-host 3-hour WONC music program |
| $500 | co-houst 2-hour sports talk show |
| $1,000 | design and co-host own 2-hour music program, including input on song selection and format |
The WONCathon fundraiser will run throughout the summer to collect donations and thank you gifts will be awarded in fall of 2008. Questions? For more information on WONCathon call John Madormo, general manager of WONC-FM 89.1 and assistant professor of broadcast communication, at (630) 637-5960 or send him an email.
THANK YOU for supporting WONC!

Stream WONC across the country, or around the world. RealPlayer and mp3 streams available.
You can listen to WONC's programming anywhere in the entire world using RealAudio.
It's easy! If you have RealPlayer already, just click on the "listen live" icon
in the upper right corner. WONC currently streams using both the RealSystem
G2 and RealAudio 5.0 formats. This ensures that most people will be able to
receive our signal. However, using a player that supports the newer G2 system
will give you the best sound quality. The newest RealPlayer is available for
free at this website.
Your feedback on the quality of the sound or any difficulties you may have connecting
will be very helpful to us. Send your comments to WONC
Feedback. If you encounter "server full" messages when you attempt to listen
via RealAudio, we suggest you try our live
MP3 feed. While you're listening on-line, you can communicate with us by
sending an Instant Message via AOL or AIM to screen name FM89. If you have AOL
Instant Messenger already, just click the "Send a Message " link in Quick Links.
