The news department at WONC features newscasts throughout the day (from 6:55 a.m. to 5:55 p.m.) at 55 minutes past the hour. In addition, we provide traffic reports during each newscast and at 20 and 40 minutes past the hour in both rush hours.

We realize that in the morning most commuters need information served up fast and piping hot, so, from 7 to 9 a.m. each weekday, we feature an hourly newscast as well as our traffic reports and frequent weather updates. Newsmakers, a weekly program offering interviews with individuals of local, national, or international interest is aired every Sunday at 7:30 a.m.
